My experiences these past few weeks =>

We attended the 2-day seminar of the Red Cross. It was done last July 16 and 17, 2007. The training was fun, and I really got much informations I can apply or use.

July is also the Nutrition Month celebration, and the TLE department sponsored a food festival. We joined the said activity and we the fourth year students were assigned last July 19, and all year levels last July 20. Our group decided to sell avocado shake. It was hard, especially in the first day, because our materials were incomplete or we didn't yet know what to use or how much to bring. On the second day, we added "arroz caldo" in the products to sell. And it was easier to sell than the avocado shake.

Our total profit was 140 pesos, and we gave the 30% of this to Aris, our classmate who had a vehicular accident.

But before this food festival, a nutri jingle contest was done, also sponsored by the TLE department, last July 13. And we joined the contest. We didn't win but we were still happy because we were able to join such contest.

1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?
I just have learned what internet is. I have learned or discovered its history, or its progress, the services it offers, how does it work, how it is use and how important it is to us or how does it change our lives.

2. What are the problems that I have encountered?
I am not very familiar with the other features of the internet, because I'm only using this for searching about our projects, assignments or assigned works. So when we talked about this lectures, I wasn't able to cope up fast. Another problem I encountered was, I spend much time searching for something or for a given topic because it's hard to find the exact information I want to have.

3. How did I address these challenges?
I was able to solve my first problem, by asking my classmates the things I can't understand, and also by actively listening to the lessons we had. My second problem was solve when we had our lesson on how to search consuming lesser time and how to search for the informations or topics I want to have.

Participate actively in the discussions, I will concentrate in learning the lessons, I will do the activities by heart, and I will try not to be a burden to ma'am.
